School library... reviews project!

We've started a reading project recently. We started reading simplified english classics and then created our own texts reviewing the books and immersing into their thematics.
I was amazed to find out that most of the students enjoyed what they read and came up with some really nice pieces of written work. Have a brief look!

Charles Dickens says:

"Whatever I have tried to do in life, I have tried with all my heart to do it well;
Whatever I have devoted myself to, I have devoted myself completely;
in great times and in small I have always thoroughly been in earnest".

The Cuchoo Fair ...phonecall dialogue!

B Seniors had fun writing, decorating and practising with their friends the dialogues they wrote pretending they were attending the Cuckoo Fair and tellling their friend what they could see and do there. Just enjoyed the simple but as it proved out to be quite creative project!

The task was suggested by the coursebook we're using in class, Forum 1, Unit 3.1, express publishing.

to be greek!

'cause we're proud "to be greek"!!!!!!

I played it in class today just to find out that I can share the same feelings of pride and excitement with my students. They were as touched and honoured as I was!

Short stories competition!

Hello, there! We're back after a long time to post ... stories! The students of  the 1st grade of our Senior High School are taking part in a short story competition. Here are their entries.

Hope you enjoy them and feel free to comment on them and why not, vote for the one you liked best.

As for me, I need to thank them all for applying what I've taught them in their work and after all, Good for them!!!!

You have decided to enter a short story competition. The story must begin with the following words:
David smiled and said, "This is going to be an amazing day."
